Sun & Shade transformed a south-facing area that offered no
protection, and was subject to harsh prevailing winds into a bright
and warm area where children could play safely in any weather. The
flooring was made of Wetpour rubber and provides a resilient and soft
surface with designs which encourage creative play. Also included in
the design is a raised deck area with seating, sandpit and printed windbreak panels.
The accommodation that Sun and Shade designed and built for our Foundation Stage outdoor classroom is much admired by parents, enjoyed by children and greatly valued by teachers. It looks great, it works in terms of design very well and is perfect for the all weather needs of our children's outdoor curriculum.
Sun and Shade were inspirational to plan with, have an excellent team to deliver on construction and been very supportive in their after sales care.
