Beneath each shelter and its surrounding grounds, we can supply a range of durable and cost-effective surfacing solutions.
Within the school environment, we try to avoid the clichéd and prescriptive imagery used so often, and instead we have developed a system of semi-abstract designs that help to stimulate creative play and interaction.
Surfacing materials we can provide include:
Tigermulch
This exciting, durable surface is made from coloured recycled rubber and is similar to the safer surface used in children’s play areas. It has been designed to mimic the appearance of natural loose mulch material and is an affordable alternative to loose particle surfacing or grass mat products but is more durable with less maintenance obligations.
Wetpour rubber surfacing
A porous, durable, recycled rubber surface specifically developed for use on children's playgrounds to give maximum safety and play value. Colourful designs can be introduced into the surface and the softness of the product provides a very user-friendly surface.
Timber decking.
All of our decking is made from high-grade timber and hand finished to minimise the risk of splinters and we finish each surface with a non-slip coating.
Other surfacing
We can also supply other surfaces if required including grass anti-erosion mats, and we also offer a playground marking design and application service.
